Reetha, sometimes referred as aritha, is also known as South India soapnut tree. Fruits of the tree are rich of saponins. The powder of reetha fruits (soapnuts) is extremely beneficial for hair. It is a mild cleanser which removes oil and grime from the scalp
and hair by keeping natural pH balance at same time. Reetha makes your hair soft and easily manageable.
Reetha - Sapindus trifoliatus
Usage: Mix 1 part powder with 6 parts of boiled lukewarm water. Let it stand for 2-3 hours. Strain and apply to the hair, gently massaging the scalp and hair. Rinse carefully. Reetha can be mixed into other herbal powders and added to masks, detergents or henna paste.
